At Deem, the product management team assesses customer and market needs, designs industry-leading solutions, drives features from concept to release, and works cross-functionally to ensure successful product adoption.

As a Group Product Manager, you’ll manage a small team of more junior PMs and partner with design, user research, sales and engineering to identify trends in the market, understand traveler needs, and build products that our travelers love.

What you'll be doing:

  • Be part of the Traveler Experience leadership team
  • Own and lead the group vision, roadmap, KPIs and strategy while guiding the rest of the product teams in the group to success
  • As their direct manager, mentor and manage 1-2 Product Managers
  • Passion and ability to coach and guide teams so they can understand the big picture and how their work fits in
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering on product development during the ideation and discovery phases to assess value, scope of effort, usability, and priority of features
  • Deliver customer value iteratively, managing products through planning, development, launch, and follow-up releases
  • Ensure strong collaboration and communication across the company and serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative metrics to help your team measure progress and success

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a PM role focusing on web/app-based products or services. B2C or marketplace experience preferred. 1-2 years of people management experience
  • Excellent communication skills that enable you to tell a compelling story at the right level to inspire any audience. You can communicate intricate, complex large-scale plans in a succinct and compelling manner
  • Clarity of vision for your product/portfolio that provides the team with direction and inspiration
  • You know how to distill abstract challenges into strategy and break down that strategy into a cohesive plan that empowers your team
  • A proven ability to encourage your teams to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, question, and improve the experience for our users
  • Experience working with remote, distributed teams
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, Figma, etc.
  • Travel industry experience is a plus!
  • Experience with mobile apps and/or PWAs is also a plus
