Deem is building a team that follows XP and scrum processes to deliver the next generation iOS application from scratch. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for creating high-quality iOS applications that are well tested. We are looking for smart, innovative thinkers to help us solve the complex challenges of building a high-performance app. The candidate would have great problem solving and communication skills and be comfortable with fast-paced design, development and deployment working in an agile environment.

What you'll be doing:

• You will be working in a hands-on capacity within the Dublin mobile group and will be responsible for engineering and maintaining features and components for our iOS application
• Participate in product feature implementation, both independently and in cooperation with your cross-functional team
• Implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient, reusable and performant code
• Liaise with product stakeholders and other teams in the organization to complete the projects on time and to the highest quality standards
• Participate in peer code reviews, pair programming and technical review of architectural proposals.
• Investigate technical issues during the full development lifecycle
• Provide effort estimations for the individual and team assignments

What you'll bring to the table:

• Passion about technology, with an appreciation for beautiful, elegant systems and a knack for energising others around your passions
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Excellent Programming skills in Swift
• Understanding of iOS application development and release cycle is a must
• Knowledge of TDD
• Good understanding of Git and pipelines
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• BA Degree or equivalent work experience, in the field of software engineering
