Our design team is growing rapidly and we have an opportunity to build an exceptional design culture. The business travel industry is changing rapidly and great design is no longer optional. Deem’s product designers are responsible for driving our user-centered development approach throughout research, ideation, testing, and execution.

As a Senior Product Design, you will work with the design leadership team to develop and drive a design strategy that enables a travel experience which supports and delights our users. You will drive our design strategy across whole groups of cross-functional teams. You will also use your unique design skills to build consensus for, and communicate plans to execute that strategy.

What you'll be doing:

• Set a high standard for Deem’s digital experiences and champion our user’s needs at every juncture
• Drive the design strategy for a future where our products are always available, always helpful companion in our user’s business travel experiences.
• Work with product, engineering, research and-go-to-market partners across multiple teams to build consensus for that design strategy
• Develop the processes and approaches for tackling design problems our team hasn’t encountered before

What you'll bring to the table:

• This is a senior role, you have 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably for digital products and services
• You have a strong, diverse portfolio of projects that showcase excellent product design thinking
• You have experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices
• You’re comfortable working in fast-paced, global, multidisciplinary environments and understand that good ideas can come from anywhere
• You use your unique design skills to illustrate product strategy and help your team make decisions
• You’re excellent at validating concepts through research, low and high-fidelity prototyping and user testing
• You can think big picture, and small details. You switch between the two often
• You are data-driven. Whether it’s quantitative or qualitative data
• You like to roll up your sleeves and build things!

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in the travel industry
• Experience with products that have multiple layers of stakeholders
• Degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Social Science, or a related discipline.
