We are looking for an Operations Analytics Associate to support our operations organization. This position, reporting to our Operations Analytics Manager, will work closely with leadership and requires strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and extensive experience analyzing and visualizing data. Your mission is to help improve the operations org’s data systems and processes, provide advanced analytics capabilities, and help implement cross-functional initiatives for the operations and engineering teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Define, measure, and manage operational metrics
• Build, maintain, and operationalize data warehouses and dashboards
• Provide advanced analytics support for high priority business and operations questions
• Provide subject matter expertise on operations data and performance for cross-functional initiatives with engineering
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and help improve/automate operations processes
• Work closely with engineering teams (e.g., Data Science, Infrastructure, Product)

Abilities & requirements:

• 2+ years of experience analyzing, manipulating, and visualizing datasets
• Experience with SQL, Python, and Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• An ego-free attitude that in the same day can go from presenting and interfacing with C-Suite leadership to understanding the needs of our on-the-ground operational staff
• Passion for generating new insights from data, including proposed process changes
• A track record of successfully owning projects from start to finish, especially where the mandate is ambiguous and evolving

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in R and/or other coding languages
• Experience in tech companies and/or startups, or similarly fast-paced operational environment
