Job Summary:

ERI is seeking an Engineering Intern currently pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Material Sciences engineering - for a period of approximately 12 weeks (with the possibility of extension). The intern will be part of an Industrial and Manufacturing engineering and will be exposed to the full gamut of operations including project engineering, manufacturing, testing, design optimization & quality control.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Data analysis of legacy product P/N and BOMs
• Drawing updates and PLM change management activities
• Manufacturing data and test data analysis, graphing, regression analysis and other statistical analysis
• ERP system data processing and analysis
• Manufacturing process data analysis, tooling design, time study calculations and other optimization studies
• Other duties & projects as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

• Currently pursing industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes. MS excel expertize
• Proficient with using commercial CAD packages like Solidworks etc.
• Must possess the ability to work in a team environment, be goal oriented and deliver on schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
