Job Summary:

ERI is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediafor the position of Project Engineering Intern, with the Project Engineering team in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position will report to the Director of Program Management and will be responsible for supporting the Project Management and Engineering Team. A suitable candidate will be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate STEM program.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support initiative to convert/create library of 3D models and manufacturing documentation for legacy product lines
• Support execution and implementation of engineering change requests
• Support migration of document control systems
• All other projects and duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or other technical concentration
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Experience with Microsoft suite of applications
• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
• Mechanical aptitude
• Goal oriented and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Technical writing experience a plus
