Opportunity Overview
We are looking for an Applied Scientist with expertise in Computer Vision (CV) to join our growing team and develop models for understanding medical images (x-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound). You will work alongside Enlitic’s Natural Language Processing (NLP) scientists and clinical experts to build cutting- edge solutions to critical problems in healthcare IT and the clinical workflow. Your models will power our next generation of products and services.
Location
Fort Collins, Northern Colorado Area (with relocation assistance)
Education
Graduate degree or equivalent in a STEM field, such as Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or other related degree or experience
Experience
Required
-5+ years of experience developing Computer Vision models
-Solid foundations in machine learning concepts and practices, particularly DL
-Proficiency with Python including DL frameworks like Pytorch or TensorFlow
-Strong teamwork, communication skills, passion, creativity, productivity & learning agility

-Incorporation of domain knowledge

-Significant experience with traditional Computer Vision algorithms for:
-Segmentation

Position Responsibilities
- Develop novel approaches to application-specific image classification, segmentation, and object recognition problems
·Work closely with clinical experts to understand the nuances of the application and evaluate model performance
· Work with the Clinical team to define labeling requirements
·Prepare models for clinical validation and regulatory approval (when applicable)
· Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to get models into the field
· Help define the CV research roadmap
·Adhere to security and data protection policies in a HIPAA context

-Annual Salary Range: $175K to $200K depending on experience
