Exploding Kittens is seeking an experienced Director of eCommerce to join our Commercial Sales team. In this role you will manage our eCommerce DTC including ExplodingKittens.com and our third party ecommerce business including Amazon.com, Target.com and Walmart.com. You’ll play a key role in the growth of our business including reviewing and confirming our DTC strategy including DTC product, performance marketing and the vision for site features and functionality that will distinguish Exploding Kittens from our competitors and create a differentiated destination for both new and existing customers. Successful candidates have deep performance marketing experience supporting owned DTC businesses with equal strengths at managing 3rd party marketplaces. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with performance marketing including search, SEO, display, social, affiliates, email and emerging marketing channels as well as on platform marketing and merchandising. Managing a team of direct reports and vendors, you’ll partner with the executive team on meeting objectives for 2022 and then implementing our three year strategy.
You’ll partner with our NA sales team on Walmart and Target accounts, ensuring that you are marketing and merchandising on their respective platforms to maximize overall omni-channel business success. You’ll direct key vendor relationships including marketing and vendor agencies. You’ll partner across our teams including Product Development (i.e. Physical Games, Toys, etc) and our Brand Marketing team to ensure marketing plans and tactics are integrated into the broader calendar and support our business strategy. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the Director of ecommerce can be located nationally with a preference for Los Angeles, CA.
