**Role Purpose: **

Fanatics is seeking an experienced, motivated and dynamic Business Development Strategy and Planning Manager to join our Business Affairs & Development team. This role will be reporting to Director of Business Development Strategy and Planning. The focus of the Business Development Strategy and Planning Manager will be to support the Director in identifying and delivering a pipeline of strategic new revenue generating opportunities with a focus on deal structuring, planning and internal alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans focused on identifying and responding to business development opportunities, which may include internal expansion into new markets or external expansion via partnerships, licenses and other commercial arrangements.
  • Continuous evaluation of industry trends, developing long-term implications and drive pragmatic strategies for new opportunities
  • Synthesise insights into clear and actionable business recommendations and work directly with senior stakeholders to communicate them including Senior Management.
  • Work closely with all business functions to support management and identify impactful strategic projects.
  • Create Business Development collateral for pitching, specific to each market and based on insights, trends and research
  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling for new revenue initiatives and preparing reports and recommendation based on these insights to the leadership team.
  • Participate in the completions and submission of RFP’s, pitch presentations and client contract renewal negotiations.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Proven strategy experience through significant ownership of in-house or consultant based strategy work, working with fast-paced, consumer-facing businesses
  • Demonstrable experience of independent workstream management including owning end to end project and process management and managing cross functional stakeholder relationships at a range of levels
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across different levels and functions across the business.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and operational skills, combined with best-in-class execution and delivery
  • Exceptional commercial awareness and judgement, with the ability to quickly develop and evolve thought processes in a fast paced and changing market
  • An enthusiasm for Sports and excitement about innovation and disruption in the licensed sport ecosystem.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment combining strategic and tactical capabilities.
  • Ability to drive strategic direction in spirit of #OneFanatics, with focus on collaboration, team work, equal opportunities and mutual respect.
