The Product Content Creation Team is an integral part of Fanatics. We’re committed to creating the best customer experience through delivering and maintaining high-quality product content for the fan. Our team collaborates daily with Merchandising, Marketing, Tech and Business Management teams. We take pride in creating a fun, casual and supportive environment. We are for fans, by fans and strive to maintain the highest standards across the different phases of our product cycles.

About the job:

As a copywriter you will have the ability to bring the product to life for our fans with your words. You’ll create engaging product descriptions that meet the brand and tone of the site as well as engage the fans that are reading it. You will work closely with our imaging and editing team to create best-in- class product content for an all-around awesome fan experience. You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of products, including apparel, headwear and hard goods for all ages and all sports, leagues and teams.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating engaging product descriptions that match site tone and branding.
• Completing product descriptions at pace for peak and non-peak season.
• Working as a team to achieve weekly goals.
• Communicating with imaging and content editors to ensure a well-rounded product presentation.
• Proofreading all content for correct grammar and flow.
• Checking products in hand for accuracy and additional details.
• Moving items to and from various scanning locations.
• Keeping up with current industry trends.

• Have 1-3 years’ experience writing.
• Hold a bachelor degree in English, Communications, Journalism or equivalent work experience.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have the ability to handle high work volumes and juggle several writing workflows.
• Have basic understanding of a production studio
• Have the ability to multitask.
• Are proficient with Microsoft Suite.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Can move around z-racks and lift totes of product weighing 25+ lbs.
• Have the ability to perform frequent movements such as standing, walking, repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
• Can work overtime during peak season (roughly six months out of the year).
