The Director of FP&A for Fanatics Holdings, Inc. will interface with leadership across all segments of the organization. The position reports to the VP of FP&A and is located in New York City. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated track record of consolidating multiple segments of business in a manner consistent with US GAAP. The broader Fanatics finance team will use the FP&A monthly forecast process for investor outreach, cash flow insights for debt financing as well as for Board reviews of performance.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of finance, including accounting and financial modeling. Experience in people/workforce planning, consolidation of minority interests, foreign exchange and translation as well as treasury related background in debt financing and equity dilution are considered foundational. Of foremost importance is the ability to be an effective communication liaison among functional and business owner groups to ensure transparency and accountability

The candidate should have a proven track record of success in managing through change. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, he/she will be involved in the creation and management of our monthly forecast process. In this role, you will use your analytical skills, technology proficiency, business savvy and financial chops to influence business performance. You will consolidate results in a standard manner across our Commerce, Collectibles, Gaming, Candy Digital and Holdings segments. The candidate will be critical to the success of our annual operating plan process where we distill the core drivers of value creation into the requisite investment needs for the upcoming investment cycle and then ensure adherence to these goals.

Responsibilities

--Establish and maintain a monthly forecast calendar and consolidation process with interim milestones and submissions from all Fanatics business ventures.

--Maintain a highly accurate dashboard of Key Performance Indicators on the health of the business as well as a monthly presentation to senior management

--Routinely become involved in the incorporation of new business ventures, ensuring that data is incorporated in a consistent and transparent manner

--Be comfortable working with large amounts of data from various sources under multiple scenarios in a fast-paced environment

--Work collaboratively within the FP&A framework across Fanatics, as well as cross-functional business partners globally

--Respond to information requests with thorough, organized and fact-based work product supporting key observations, assumptions and conclusions.

--Identify opportunities to improve process, financial and operational controls, and information systems in support of routine analysis and proper recordation/accumulation of financial reporting.

Candidate Profile

--BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with 7-8 years or more of finance experience, primarily in financial reporting and/or financial planning and analysis.

--CPA, CFA and/or MBA considered a strong plus

--Experience with Anaplan or similar financial planning tool considered a strong plus

--Experience incorporating acquisitions/business ventures into an organization as well as integrating a significant new software tool such as Anaplan, Host Analytics, Oracle EPM or similar into the forecasting process in a streamlined manner

--Excellent oral and written communication skills

--A commitment to transparency and collaboration

--Blend of financial, strategy, business analysis, and project skills.

--Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment within deadlines and work with executive, technology and financial leadership.

--Be a strong advocate of data automation across functional groups and transparent communication flow

--Results oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful team player at ease in a dynamic collaborative environment

--Able to interact well with internal associates at all levels and across multiple lines of business

--Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office software with advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills

--Flexibility for some travel

--Expectation to be on premise in the New York office 3 days per week
