The Senior Director of Production at Fanatics Collectibles provides leadership, vision and support to the entire Content & Breaking team. This position will be responsible for helping to build out and manage a new production team that will service Fanatics Collectibles owned & operated media channels, including live broadcasts, social media channels, marketing materials and partnership content. The Senior Director of Production is a collaborative leader who understands company business objectives and how premium content is utilized to support and amplify them.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically scale Fanatics Collectibles production capacity to output hundreds of pieces of content yearly.
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to determine short & long term production plans and goals
  • Develop estimates and working budgets that support project needs while satisfying budget requirements.
  • Ability to clearly multi-task as a VOD producer, line producer in a control room environment, production manager, project manager and leader.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Work and position established and home-grown influencers and talent throughout the content production pipeline
  • Use a working knowledge of post-production processes to ensure timely delivery of finished projects

Qualifications

  • 10 – 15 years of content production experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Video content development expertise
  • Broadcast control room experience
  • Post-production experience. You’ve shepherded edits with multiple versions and deliverables
  • Understand of the workflow between edit, color, audio & graphics
  • Strong understanding of social, digital and streaming platforms
  • Has experience developing interactive content experiences
  • Self-starter who is customer obsessed, detail oriented and an enthusiastic team leader
  • Passion for working in a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that is energetic, positive and resourceful
  • Knowledge of trading cards and the hobby is a plus but not required
