The Head of Social Media will help lead the development and execution of social media campaigns and creating & deployment of original content across Fanatics Collectibles current and future channels. You will drive the social media strategy for Fanatics Collectibles and will be responsible for crafting and driving innovative and engaging digital strategy for the intellectual properties across our products. You will help to build a small team who cover social media marketing, digital content creative, editorial strategy and breakthrough social campaigns. You’ll also collaborate directly with strategic leaders across Fanatics Collectibles


  • Lead team in the development of social media strategies and best practices
  • Develop the Fanatics Collectibles social media presence across existing platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, Twitter & Facebook while exploring new areas for growth
  • Liaise and communicate plans with internal & external stakeholders around content campaigns relevant to Fanatics Collectibles upcoming releases
  • Maintain brand voices and tone for individual properties through copy, content and creative across multiple platforms
  • Develop and report against key performance indicators and success metrics in order to drive business
  • Collaborate on budgets for social media marketing campaigns and possible agency partners
  • Manage internal and external creative and content agencies in the support of social media strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, product and content teams across our business to educate and integrate social media with all marketing efforts
  • Work with marketing, content and breaking teams to ensure alignment with company-wide strategies and policies


  • 10-15 years of experience in digital & social media
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Deep expertise of existing and emerging social media platforms
  • A deep understanding of influencer campaigns and metrics therein
  • Significant experience developing relevant brand content & campaigns that engage with popular culture, build community and drive word of mouth
  • You’re an entertainment marketer, strategic problem solver, storyteller and skilled communicator with a love of popular culture and a keen ability to connect the digital, media and creative perspective
  • Prior success with marketing global brands via social media, transforming creative ideas into successful campaigns across multiple brands and platforms with the ability to deliver results (engagement, growth, brand sentiment, credibility & innovation)
  • Consistent record maintaining agency relationships and campaign budgets
  • Working knowledge of social media and analytics tools
  • Strong relationships with social media platforms
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach, a good sense of prioritization and the ability to work under pressure in a constantly evolving environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Fully understanding of the appropriate ways for brands to participate across the social landscape
