Role Purpose

The Associate Recruiter will be responsible for the recruitment and organisational support of a wide range of business functions across the Fanatics Commerce organisation. You will own the full recruitment process, from recruitment marketing, through to phone interviewing and offer management, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey. You will also partner with key stakeholders on proactive recruiting efforts to create a pipeline of talent for Fanatics at all levels. This is a highly collaborative role and an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-impact, high-visibility talent activities and improvements in a fast- paced organisation. The ideal candidate will have project management, process improvement and strong administrative skills which will be put to work creating seamless, simplified processes and supporting the day-to-day efforts of the Recruiting team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of a truly Global Recruitment team
  • Be an advocate of Fanatics, building relationships and ensuring all candidates have a positive recruitment experience.
  • Ensure all active vacancies have effective recruitment plans in place with clear roles and responsibilities and agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team on a variety of special projects relating to process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Be a subject matter expert in every aspect of Recruiting Workflow
  • Troubleshoot and solve any scheduling challenges.
  • Proactively manage stakeholders
  • Track candidates accordingly in Applicant Tracking System (Lever)
  • Post jobs using Lever to external and internal job boards
  • Take the lead to ensure new hires are properly onboarded – this includes managing orientation enrolment, IT equipment shipment process, and shepherding both new hires and hiring managers through the onboarding process
  • Create strategic sourcing plans and source candidates in support of high priority searches
  • Utilise sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Hired and Seekout
  • Conduct candidate phone screens with sourced candidates
  • Project Management to support building recruiting programs (Internship program, employment branding and recruitment marketing)

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Excited by the prospect to work in a global business environment
  • A blend of agency and in-house recruitment experience is preferred, but we will also consider candidates directly from agencies.
  • Ability to build and develop strong effective relationships and communicate with confidence.
  • A willingness to recruit across a vast spectrum of roles including Corporate Functions, Business Development, eCommerce, Marketing, Retail and Creative
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interface with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong prioritisation and time management skills and ability to change course of action quickly
  • Proven experience designing and implementing new processes; a passion for process and achieving efficiencies.
  • Able to thrive and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable keeping others on task and owning a process
  • A tenacious problem solver who can effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Ability to execute a sourcing strategy and sourcing activities independently
