Summary : Fanatics is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented and creative storyteller to join our Global Communications team as Internal Communications Manager. This position will provide communications support, with a focus on Fanatics Global Technology organization, global communications special projects, and the company’s Intranet. The team is seeking a high-judgement communications professional who has excellent copy writing skills that can be adjusted depending on format, topic, and speaker. This individual will work with key business and functional leaders to develop and execute messaging, communications strategies, and programs to inform, engage and connect employees globally through a variety of methods. Responsibilities

  • Serve as communications key point of contact for Fanatics Global Technology organization to support internal efforts, including planning and executing Town Halls and other employee event engagement efforts.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to develop, execute and/or support communications efforts to inform, engage and connect employees through consistent, timely and proactive messaging.
  • Write and edit executive-level communications to convey progress against Technology’s strategy and goals to broad global technology audience and key internal stakeholders.
  • Work with Tech leaders and share best practices to help enhance inner- and inter-department communications and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to enhance the Technology organization reputation and positioning that ultimately aids in recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Leverage communications and cultural best practices and provide editorial and event support in other key areas of the business as needed.
  • Assist with the development and updating of content for our company-wide global newsletter and company’s intranet.
  • Support internal communications initiatives, special events, and key projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or Liberal Arts preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in internal/employee communications, with preference supporting technology organization within a company
  • Exceptional written and spoken communications skills
  • Successful development and implementation of strategic communications campaigns that increase employee engagement
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships and navigate organizational complexities and form relationships internally and externally
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking capabilities with exemplary attention to detail
  • Strong judgment and the ability to respond quickly to urgent matters
  • Collaborative team spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Travel to California office
