Primary Purpose
The Inventory Control clerk objectively inspects various aspects of the DC Operation as required, to provide qualitative performance feedback to DC Leadership staff.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Inspects cartons for count and product accuracy
· Records inspection findings on an audit sheet or in computer on an Excel spreadsheet
· Make inventory adjustments in WMS system
· Inform supervisor of any discrepancies
· Able to read, write and speak effectively in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with Web based data entry
· Must be able to count and record data accurately
· Must be able to lift boxes of up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
· Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if required
· Must be able to operate a forklift within 90 days of employment
Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong background and proven ability to work in a team environment
Accurate, reliable and understands the importance of deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving, communication, and initiative skills
Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
Well organized, able to multitask and detailed-oriented
Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
Working knowledge of warehouse management systems such as FMS, DMS, NGC preferred.
