We are looking for a Quality engineer II for our Supply Chain Technology team in India., where you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining the best-in-class software for our Supply Chain Applications users. As a Quality Engineer, you'll specialize in manual testing and test automation and create/use tools to execute them; you’ll be building and enriching test frameworks with new use cases, improve test coverage, and work with developers to prevent, debug, and reproduce issues. You’ll learn the critical business use cases and work on automations to minimize the risk on our platform. Your goal will be to develop high-quality software, workflows and automation that is aligned with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities:

•Work closely with Product Managers and Development team to understand the application details, business impact and the technical design to generate comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports.

•Be able to understand complex software solutions built using API and Microservices to create customized testing strategy and detailed test plans – manual and automation.

•Review test execution, test data generation process to identify repeated manual tasks, automate it to promote QE productivity.

•Execute test plans and cases, creating appropriate reports on results.

•Effectively document testing phases, identifying, and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other associated issues in JIRA or other test management tools.

•Work cross-functionally with other Quality Engineers for testing, ensuring high quality throughout production.

•Be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

•Assist the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during testing phase, offering appropriate recommendations and implementations.

•Manage, document and report quality assurance process statistics and KPIs.

•Stay current with Supply chain technology industry trends and utilize available resources to regularly upgrade technical and soft skills.

Technical requirements and education qualification:

•Must have 2-5 years of proven working experience in testing complex applications.

•Must understand databases and ORMs, experience with at least one RDBMS and Query language.

•Hands on experience with languages such as Go, Java, or any C-type language.

•Hands on knowledge of APIs, JSON, REST, microservice architecture, CI/CD, and source code management.

•Hands on experience with open-source test automation tools/frameworks like JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium.

•Experience working in AWS Cloud Environment.

•Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

•Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

•Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process.

•Experience working in global distributed office model.

•Preferred hands-on testing experience of WMS, WES and Shopfloor systems like Infor CSI, Manhattan WMS, Invata etc.

•Preferred knowledge of overall Enterprise Systems with specific skills in Supply Chain Systems. E2E Order fulfillment Process, Multi-Carrier Management System integration, Warehouse automation.

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Points:

•Knowledge of Load and Performance Testing process and tools like – load runner, neo load etc.

•Experience with AWS, Azure cloud environment.

•Experience working in a Linux Environment.

•Experience working with a containerized Environment such as Docker.
