About the Hiring Team:
The Pricing and Promotions team’s mission is to build a global platform to enable Fanatics to manage promotional, standard, clearance, markdown and recommendation pricing.
About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer role will build high-performance data pipelines and APIs that enables updated pricing & promotions to be created, managed and distributed throughout our E-Commerce platform. Senior Engineers will contribute to design, learn new technologies and share that information with the rest of the team. The team spends a lot of time collaboratively solving our challenges in group working sessions and virtual meetings.
The team has built the platform from the Cloud up, using Go & Scala on AWS to build cloud native data processing in lambdas, Spark EMR, S3, RDS, & EC2’s when needed. The team partners with industry partners and internal organizations to learn the latest technologies to support our mission. Learning and sharing knowledge is a regular part of a day on this team.
