Description:

The primary responsibility of Software Engineer II position is to architect, design and develop features/functionalities/integrations as well as support/maintain current functionality around Supply Chain Systems with focus on Warehouse Systems. The successful candidate will be highly driven, adaptable and customer focused. They must also be able to work effectively as an individual contributor and should be able to develop scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

•Involved in Design and develop end to end features/applications

•Design, write, and compile complex code and algorithms to build next-gen Supply Chain Solutions

•Deliver high quality, robust and scalable code

•Participate in Peer code reviews to ensure software meets standards and best practices

•Collaborate and interface with cross-functional teams and vendor onshore/offshore teams

•Learn and utilize newly developed best practices, software development techniques, and frameworks with other teams within the organization

•Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to build and support features/functionalities within the Supply Chain domain

Qualifications

•The right candidate will be highly technical and analytical with a zeal to learn and adapt to ever changing technology landscape

•3+ years of hands-on full stack experience with a focus on RESTful APIs and Front-End Technologies like React.js/React Native and Vanilla JavaScript.

•Experience in developing cloud-based applications (preferably AWS)

•Experience in Relational Databases like MS Sql Server & Postgres, AWS RDS

•Good understanding of software systems and application performance characteristics

•Strong grasp of design patterns, coding best practices and be able to write unit-testable code

•Advanced skills in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)

•Sound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and Systems Development Life Cycle

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

•1+ year experience in eCommerce/Retail/Consumer Goods environment will be a plus

•Previous success working in agile as well as waterfall methodologies

•Computer Science or Engineering background and education highly desired
