JOB SUMMARY:

The Payment Service specialist will ensure the complete and accurate process of making payments on-behalf of Fanatics, which includes: validating and processing all invoices as needed, timely payment of vendors, and working with other departments as needed to ensure the highest customer service internally and externally

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Perform day to day full-cycle accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing

•Ensure three-way matching of purchase order, receipt, and invoice in order to accurately pay vendor obligations

•Research billing and matching discrepancies

•Ensure proper discounts are taken

•Verify transactions comply with accounting policies and procedures

•Reconcile vendor statements and respond to all vendor inquires

•Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.

•Assists in monthly closings.

•Administrative duties and other duties as assigned

•Other duties as assigned

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

•High School Diploma required

•2-year Accounts Payable experience or equivalent Data Entry experience

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

General Duties and responsibilities include:

•Knowledge of EDI and three-way match preferred

•Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision

•Strong analytical/problem solving, communication, organization, and initiative skills

•Able to multitask and detailed-oriented

•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to prioritize is key and teamwork is a must

•Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful, mature and flexibility are required traits.

•Working knowledge of MS Excel required, intermediate level skills a plus

•Must maintain good attendance.

•Must maintain safe work practices

•Typing and 10 key skills required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

This role is hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 from home
