We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to serve as lead for our Customer Accounts and Transaction (CAT) Login & Eligibility team. This role reports to our Sr. Software Development Manager and is responsible for helping define our identity, authentication and authorization strategy. The role will work closely with Product Management and other members of the engineering organization helping them build secure APIs that enable a frictionless login experience for our customers. This engineer will have the opportunity to lead designing a scalable, secure architecture with multifactor login within an ambiguous regulatory environment and focus on setting clear direction and mentorship for the team.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
Become the technical leader, mentor, and role model for the Identity platform
Communicate, develop, and implement a data-driven engineering strategy, approach, and roadmap for Engineering needs.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, inside and outside of Engineering, and collaborate with leaders to gather and present testing metrics and activities.
Provide leadership and technical expertise within the engineering team. Be a mentor and role model for Engineering.
Help development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the engineering strategy.
Gather and present testing metrics and activities to key stakeholders.
Remain current on technology and trends in engineering.
