The Role:

We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to help support the Data Organization as they establish their three verticals data science, data engineering, and analytics. This role will help the team drive against the data roadmap and partner with key stakeholders across the business. This person is successful when our data is trusted and adopted within the organization, and when our data management practices are compliant with relevant regulations and laws.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

- Work with Data Leaders on defining and executing against Data Roadmap in support of Day 1 Launch

- Lead cross-functional initiatives both within the data org and across engineering on behalf of the data org where needed

- Work with data engineering to establish data governance, discoverability, and quality measurement standards

- Work with legal and privacy representatives from both FBG and the other Fanatics family companies to design a privacy and data sharing program

- Work with CISO and legal representatives from both FBG and other Fanatics family companies to establish data security practices and expectations

What skills are important to us:

Basic

- 6+ years experience as a Technical Program Manager, 3+ years in Data Domain

- 8+ years experience in software industry

- Applied understanding of Master Data Management principles and data quality measurement frameworks

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate w/ VP level management

- Interface with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, and work with engineering teams to define, evaluate, and prioritize program scope and implementation plans.

Preferred

- Knowledge of state-level US regulations pertaining to online gambling is a bonus

- Experience implementing regionalized privacy frameworks like GDPR, CCPA

- Experience in a Scaled Agile organization that utilizes Scrum Methodology

- Experience with implementing tools related to data governance (for example, data catalog tools or compliance assistance platforms) is a bonus

- Ability to build a comprehensive program from scratch, including baseline assessments and ongoing progress & risk monitoring frameworks

- Experience working with cloud providers for data layer
