The Treasury Associate will be part of the Corporate Accounting and Finance Team at Fanatics, a leading online retailer of officially licensed sports merchandise. Corporate Treasury will play a critical role in the continued expansion of Fanatics’ footprint. We are seeking exceptional individuals who will help define and shape the future of our organization. Primary responsibilities include working on acquisition financing and refinancing for all Fanatics’ operating companies and across both leveraged loans and high yield bonds. The Treasury Associate will participate in raising secured and unsecured debt as well as providing debt and capital structure advisory. This role will report to the Treasurer.

What You'll Do:

• Develop a deep understanding of Fanatics’ operating companies
• Perform credit analysis and understand key credit considerations
• Perform financial modeling and financial statement analysis
• Determine cash flow and asset-based debt capacity based on a wide range of business models
• Coordinate deal efforts across internal teams (e.g., Legal, Strategy, and M&A) and external parties including investment bankers, rating agencies, and lenders/investors
• Prepare presentation materials (e.g., lender and rating agency) and arranging meetings
• Support the Treasurer in managing key transaction workstreams and internal teams
• Develop a thorough understanding of Loans and High Yield legal documentation
• Proactively monitoring news and events pertaining to Fanatics’ operating companies
• Assist other treasury team members as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience on a Leveraged Finance team at an investment bank.
• Strong technical skills - proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Insightful, consistent and considerate communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate both verbally and written with all levels, both internally and externally.
• Dynamic in the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Continuous improvement minded - understands business processes in order to identify improvement opportunities.
• Flexible to work in an environment that is constantly changing and growing.
• Ability to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry / market trends)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required
