The Benefits Manager will be responsible for the administration of all US Health and Wellbeing plan. Ensuring that our benefit plans are administered according to all plan provisions; are in compliance with all corporate, legislative, and regulatory guidelines; and delivered in the most efficient manner to foster appreciation by plan participants and achieve corporate/unit objectives as part of our total rewards strategy.
*Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward employees seeking information regarding what health and wellbeing plans may be available to them.
*Assist employees in problem solving by identifying whether programs are appropriate and, if so, the program(s) most appropriate to their individual situations.
*Respond to inquiries with timely, accurate and complete information.
*Review plan documents, SPDs, and employee communications to guarantee compliance, with a focus on ERISA, DOL, and IRS requirements.
*Be a change agent to ensure effective service levels and timely, reliable delivery of benefits in the most cost-effective manner.
*Responsibility for benefit communications to employees, HR partners, and other plan participants including escalations from the Benefits Service Center.
*Central contact for the most senior managers.
*Help develop and manage wellness strategy.
*Strong analytic skills to identify issues and improve processes.
*Extensive experience managing open enrollment, M&A, and other large complex projects.
