JOB SUMMARY:

Fanatics’ Legal team is seeking to add you to the team - an experienced talented new colleague to fill the position of Vice President, Head of Contracts & Procurement Legal. You will be a senior member of the global legal team. This role will provide strategic legal support with respect to all contracts and procurement matters across Fanatics Holding Co. and the full spectrum of all the Fanatics family of businesses. You will work directly with the global General Counsel as well as all Heads of Legal for the various verticals. You will also work directly with all business contacts cross all areas and businesses.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as primary point of contact and have primary responsibility for providing legal and contract support for procurement related matters;
  • Serve as the point person for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on all contracts across Fanatics Holding Co. and the full spectrum of all of the Fanatics family of businesses
  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a variety and large volume of contracts, ranging from the day-to-day/routine to highly complex transactions, including but not limited to vendor and supplier contracts, technology and software related agreements, services and goods agreements, commercial agreements, intellectual property agreements, real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, event and venue agreements;
  • Develop and improve contract templates, policies and procedures;
  • Interpret and advise with respect to rights and obligations under the Company’s operations and procurement related contracts;
  • Monitor applicable laws, rules and regulations, as well as industry standards, and advise members of the Global Legal Team with respect to relevant changes and trends;
  • Onboard and oversee screening of all parties to contracts;
  • Create and manage on an ongoing basis an overall database of all contracts;
  • Assist with diligence of the Company’s operations and procurement related; and
  • Collaborate with other members of the Global Legal Team, including with respect to issues requiring subject matter expertise, and oversee and leverage outside counsel, as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school or international equivalent.
  • Member in good standing of at least one us State Bar.
  • Minimum of 8 years of legal professional work experience, including direct experience in all forms of commercial and other operational corporate contracts and procurement experience that includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating all such contracts.
  • In-house experience is required.
  • Be a doer whose ready, willing and able to roll up your sleeves, jump in and get things done.
  • Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of taking ownership of projects/matters.
