The Network Manager, Networking & Cabling is a valued member of the
Marketplace Provider Team and leads the execution efforts for the curation,
vetting, and engagement of Providers (Technicians) in their assigned Field
Services skill category. With this opening, we are specifically seeking a
professional who has expertise in the Networking & Cabling skill categories.
Qualified individuals have experience with recruiting, training, equipping,
and managing Networking & Cabling Field Service Technicians (Providers). An
analytical and growth mindset is required. This position offers the chance to
work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where new ideas are encouraged
and collaboration is a must. Field Nation is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN;
however, this position has the possibility of being remote. This position
reports to the Director, Network Development & Delivery.
What you'll need:
- Lead the creation, documentation, implementation and on-going revisions for Provider vetting strategies based on qualifications and competencies required for the assigned Field Service skill category
- Recommend processes, tools and systems required to execute vetting strategies for the assigned Field Service skill category
- Work under the direction of and in collaboration with the Director, Network Development & Delivery focusing on best practice curation strategy development and implementation (in the context of the Field Nation platform) for the assigned Field Service skill category
- Partner in a matrix environment with other Network Development, Marketplace Provider, or Field Nation team members to execute network vetting and curation strategies
- Share expertise and domain knowledge as requested with other Network Development, Marketplace Provider, or Field Nation team members for the assigned Field Service skill category
- Provide “voice of the customer” insight and feedback to the Recruitment and Onboarding Product team
- Measure the effectiveness of the pre-vetted networks through the review of key performance indicators relevant to Providers, Buyers, and Field Nation
- Create repeatable and scalable playbooks in order to apply strategies and execution concepts to future skill segmentation areas of focus for the assigned Field Service skill category
- Recommend strategies for Providers to up-skill or cross-skill in order to qualify them for more work opportunities both in and out of the assigned Field Service skill category
- Deploy, as needed, external recruitment campaigns in order to attract new Field Service Technicians to Field Nation’s marketplace for the assigned Field Service skill category
- Remain technically competent in the assigned Field Service skill category through continuous review of industry trends, needs, qualifications and competency requirements
- Provide reporting to internal teams and key stakeholders
What you'll need:
- Previous experience with recruiting, vetting, training, equipping, and managing Field Service Technicians in the assigned Field Service skill category
- Previous hands-on training and delivery experience in the assigned Field Service skill category
- Strong data analysis skills; ability to identify trending and quickly get to the “so what?”
- Solid problem-solving capabilities; thorough in root-cause analysis and determination
- Positive cross-functional collaboration skills; familiar with matrix organizations
- Excel in a team environment; ability to communicate well with variety of personalities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to make a positive, lasting impression using verbal and written communication
- Experience in building scalable and repeatable processes
- Superior customer and talent experience skills
- Driven self-starter that takes pride in exceeding expectations
- Staffing, mass talent acquisition and/or marketing background a plus
- Experience with remote or international teams is a plus
