The Associate, Strategic Finance will help enable Field Nation’s rapid growth by implementing a quantitative decision making approach to internal investments, new ventures, and acquisitions. This role will partner with the Finance, Strategy, and Product teams to understand operational plans and will build financial models that enable better decision making. This role will also partner closely with leaders of Field Nation’s growth initiatives to provide financial analysis, investment models and recommendations of financial feasibility for new ventures. The role will help evaluate and prioritize internal investments by creating an investment evaluation process.The Associate, Strategic Finance must have strong quantitative & analytical capabilities, the ability to collaborate with business leaders, intellectual curiosity, and strong communications skills. What you'll do:

• Internal Investments: Create a framework for the evaluation of internal investment opportunities that assesses project risk & return and enables the prioritization of investment alternatives
• New Ventures: Provide financial decision support, quantitative modeling, and risk management for new ventures. Help operationalize new ventures.
• M&A: Key driver for the M&A process including market assessment, due diligence, and deal management. Lead financial modeling, including modeling pro forma scenarios associated with potential acquisitions and divestitures, including cash flow and return analysis. Engage with partners across the organization including business leaders, finance, legal, tax and accounting teams to ensure transaction opportunity assessments and pre-close efforts are comprehensive and align to transaction best practices.
• Decision Support: Support Field Nation’s strategic & operational plans by providing quantitative decision support, financial analysis, and competitive research. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations with analysis of key business metrics.
• Planning: Partner with FP&A on long term financial models to assess the value and impact of growth initiatives
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed in a growing and evolving company.

What you’ll need:

• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Business required, MBA would be preferred
• 2-4+ years of progressive experience working in M&A, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or an internal corporate development function.
• Self-starter who excels in technically demanding, fast-paced, and fluid environment
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models to accurately reflect business drivers
• Independent, intellectually curious with ability to frame situations through multiple lenses
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong ability to analyze and problem solve
