Job Description

We are seeking driven, outcome-oriented Mission Managers to join our Mission Solutions team. Mission Managers are responsible for leading delivery teams to solve our clients’ challenges in the national security enterprise using Govini’s SaaS Decision Science Platform (DSP). They are creative, entrepreneurial, and can see the big picture. Mission Managers lead teams, but they also roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to ensure our clients are successful. They understand our clients’ operating environment and challenges, and they architect solutions through active collaboration with Govini's Product and Implementation teams. Mission Managers are passionate about our users’ success and ensure excellence in project delivery and platform adoption. They serve as trusted advisors to their customers and drive continual account growth.

This role is located in our Arlington, VA office.

This role may require up to 25% travel.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytic, data, and software deployments
• Manage high-quality project execution to ensure delivery exceeds client expectations while balancing business resources
• Translate client’s business challenges into software use cases
• Work with our Product Team to configure our data and technology to enable users’ capability
• Drive the adoption and persistent use of Govini’s solutions
• Oversee client engagement with senior-level relationships
• Identify and scope expansion opportunities within existing accounts
• Develop a deep understanding of client workflows to inform the configuration of our data and technology
• Discover valuable insights for our sponsors’ business and present them in a concise and compelling manner to executives
• Regularly assess individual and team performance to reduce cognitive biases and refine products and internal processes

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in engagement and project management, preferably within the technology industry
• Subject matter expertise with one of the following: national security strategy and policy, federal budgeting and procurement processes, government contracting landscape, or supply chain risk management; OR experience in advisory services, software-as-a-service (SaaS), information services, analytical tools, or data analytics industries
• Strong business acumen, excellent professional demeanor with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone without hesitation
• Referenceable history of exceptional performance
• Detail-oriented with outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple work-streams and projects from start to finish, to learn quickly, and to work independently with little supervision

Desired Skills

• MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution
• Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain one
• Experience in a startup environment
