About the role:

Reporting to the SVP, Global Alliances and Partners, the General Manager (GM) role serves as the global leader of our strategic alliance partnership with KPMG. As the owner of the global strategy for the alliance relationship, this senior leader will be familiar with working with KPMG and other global System Integrators, understand the complexities of their business model and have proven experience at devising alignment strategies that result in significant growth. This is a builder opportunity for someone excited to work closely with a global consulting organization that is a trusted adviser to a Global 2000 client base. This leader is experienced in developing differentiating strategies for partners that result in market growth and understands how to align with these companies as they develop their digital transformation business.

Enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is one of the key areas identified to help companies achieve immediate and continuous transformation through faster revenue velocity, better risk and compliance management, and greater operational efficiency. This role is positioned to make a significant contribution to Icertis future growth objectives by developing partnerships built on shared urgency for customer transformation and success, using CLM and the Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) platform to deliver it. #LI-remote

What you will do:

  • Engage and develop high value, outcome-based relationships with KPMG leadership level contacts to evangelize digital transformation through Enterprise CLM and Icertis’ industry leadership position​
  • Identify and engage with KPMG leadership that see digital transformation value through CLM for their enterprise clients
  • Develop relationships and deliver informative experiences to influence KPMG functional and client account leaders to consider CLM as a strategic initiative in practice areas such as Supply Chain/Procurement, Sales Velocity, Process Efficiency, Cost Reduction and Risk Management/ Compliance​
  • Evangelize Icertis as the thought leader and primary/exclusive solution partner for CLM transformation ​
  • Leverage Icertis and KPMG internal and external marketing assets and processes to scale both organizations’ knowledge, perception and impact of the partnership
  • Work closely with KPMG to build and implement a shared go-to-market strategy and plan
  • Lead the coordination of building KPMG’s CLM and ICI-based technical and functional capabilities, practices, visibility and resource planning​
  • Identify, enable and mobilize the appropriate Icertis resources to optimize opportunity identification, close and delivery with exceptional partner and client satisfaction ​
  • Develop and oversee to success the strategic business development plans while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., sales teams, partners, marketing, professional services, etc.) and provide critical input on Icertis and KPMG business value differentiation by category and vertical​
  • Serve as a senior member of the business development team to help drive the effectiveness and impact of Icertis technology and services partnerships in concert with the overall go-to-market strategy and performance
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to establishing new partner engagements and solutions​
  • Understand and actively utilize appropriate internal systems and tools to effectively track, analyze, communicate and improve partner relationship and program performance
  • Work effectively and deliver high impact outcomes in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Successfully lead partner-focused global senior business development team across selected geographies (e.g., North America, Europe, APAC)

What you will bring:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a business background and technology experience that comes from building and nurturing effective and valued senior-level client relationships ​
  • The right person will be technical, analytical, and possess 10+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, or management consulting experience
  • Experience within and knowledge of the management consulting community​
  • Experience with account management, relationship management and solution selling​
  • Industry depth in 2 key market segments – Pharma, Telecom, FS, Manufacturing…etc.​
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations at senior levels
