Program Managers manage the design and development of programs to make sure they are high-quality and meet schedule and cost constraints. In addition to strong program/project management skills, we look for strong technical abilities and a high sense of ownership. Business acumen coupled with comfort in digging into business requirements as they are drilling into architecture and design with development teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying, scoping, and delivering a large and complex end-to-end program in a successful and timely manner.
  • Working across experienced cross-disciplinary teams, time zones, and ambiguity.
  • You will thrive through building consensus and driving teams toward results.
  • Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making trade-offs, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Self-driven to understand where teams are at, to understand the challenges they face, and add value to what they are doing, whether it be through information, suggestion, or technology help.
  • You will raise your hand early enough to either reliably say, no, we’ve got this, it’s going to ship on time or, this is not on track, I need help, we need to change this. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
  • The right candidate will possess proven program management skills, and will demonstrate experience leading medium to large programs, projects, or products.
  • Versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • You are not hindered by managing competing priorities and are able to bring order to ambiguous scenarios.
  • Data-driven and analytical.
  • Clear and effective communication (written as well as verbally) across the org and up to senior leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technical program/project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to earn trust and influence partners and teams, and demonstrate success in delivering on time
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver programs/projects with multiple dependencies and constraints
  • Experience defining programs/projects, identifying risks, managing cost, coordinating scope, identifying dependencies, scheduling and deploying new products and features
  • Master’s or advanced technical degree
  • Experience with large scale software and hardware development (Application, Services, Cloud)
  • Experience managing infrastructure costs and gross margin
