The design team is looking for a strong Senior Product Designer to take on these challenges with us and to collaborate across our organization. We are a dedicated team whose priorities are to understand and support our users and the future of education.
As a member of our team, you will
- Research and understand the problems and concerns of our users
- Embrace Kiddom’s mission and product strategy to inform high-level decisions
- Craft an experience that brings the best tools and processes to our users
- Work closely with the entire product development team
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in design or a design-related field
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional product design with wide adoption
- The confidence and ability to make informed and integral decisions as a project lead
- An affinity for strategic system-level thinking combined with mad tactical skills
- A devotion to logical and extensible interaction design
- Proficiency with the standard UX design tools - we use Sketch
- Visual design skills and the ability to both utilize and extend existing design systems
- Willingness to share knowledge and experience with other team members
- Communication skills that relay all of the above to produce exceptional product
- The ability to quickly prototype ideas or specifications, when words aren’t enough
Nice to have
- Experience in education technology
- Technical competence with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JS
- UX animation and/or audio skills
