Here’s what that would mean for you in the Security Analyst role.

Caring

• In this role you will manage day to day security operations to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Kyruus platform. You will work directly with the security team while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.

Ownership

• You will be part of the security team working alongside appsec and secops professionals.
• You’ll utilize industry leading security and compliance tools to assist with monitoring, investigating, and responding to security alerts as they arise.
• You’ll work closely with engineering on validating remediation of found security concerns.

• Apply your strong interest in security and understanding of security best practices to assist engineering teams to proactively remediate vulnerabilities.
• Work alongside other members of security to maintain security documentation for all aspects of the Kyruus platform.
• Maintain and establish repeatable procedures for ensuring a strong security posture within the organization.
• Analyzing product code base (Python, Javascript, Java) for OWASP top 10 security risks.
• Work independently to investigate newly discovered attack vectors to determine the impact to the organization.

• Ensuring day to day alerts and notifications are properly reported and triaged.
• Building on your knowledge of security best practices.
• Supporting in the creation and continuous improvement of security operations documentation.
• Comfortable with cross team collaboration to ensure security requirements are being met.

• Kyruuvians in the security analyst role can move in a more linear career path along three tracks – application security, security operations, security compliance. The next step in the process will be security engineer. From there, Kyruuvians can become an application security engineer, a security compliance analyst, or a security operations engineer.
