Here’s what that would mean for you in the Senior UX Researcher role.
Caring
- You will cross business units to work with teams from Product Design to Sales, Clinical Services to Implementation, Engineering to Marketing. You will engage users to ask about their needs, expectations, and experience of our products and services.
- The insights you collect, you will translate into compelling presentations that will guide teams and partners throughout the product design and development process. Your work will be critical to creating experiences that are easy to use and easy to understand.
- You will report to the Senior Manager, Design in Product Development.
Ownership
- Define, plan, and execute end-to-end research working with project teams to iterate on new and existing features
- Shape and improve our approach to research, informing product vision and strategy, using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Drive adoption of new research tools and best practices
- Advocate for users in key product and design decisions
- Work to improve our understanding of where patients are struggling to find care using our digital products and services
- Uncover client expectations and perspectives specific to our products and services
- Make research results accessible - translate the findings you discover into compelling stories and presentations our teams can use
Respect: How You’ll Use Your Professional Skills
- 5+ years of experience working as a usability researcher (preferably in healthcare) to independently plan and manage research projects across multiple product areas
- A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Research, Psychology, Social Science, Anthropology, Human Factors or related fields
- Experience using tools like UserTesting, UsabilityHub, Qualtrics, Decipher
- Extensive experience running exploratory and evaluative research projects
- Experience building consensus among stakeholders on research objectives, questions, desired outcomes, and approach
- A track record of strengthening products over time
- Methods to organize and synthesize data into meaningful insights
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for problem-solving through collaboration
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to speak with confidence about research learnings and recommendations
- An openness to mentorship and building a research-supported culture
