We turn long form video into indexed landing pages, newsletters, and syndicated content that is more accessible, more engaging, and more viral. Our mission is to enable engagement by making the breakdown, distribution, and analytics of video easy.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Ruby On Rails/React Web Developer to join our fully-remote engineering team. This remote role will be based in North America.

ContentGroove is supported by the AI Fund based in Palo Alto, California. The AI Fund is a team of diligent innovators who build great companies that move humanity forward by accelerating the adoption of AI. Founded by Dr. Andrew Ng, AI Fund is a startup studio focused on resolving problems to move the world forward. We build new AI companies to bridge AI technology and critical applications. What You Will Do:

• Design and implement new full-stack features in Ruby on Rails and React.
• Work with our product and design team members to help define future features, from a functional perspective.
• Collaborate with the whole engineering team to review and improve code.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of our application.

Our Stack Includes:

• React (with hooks)
• Ruby on Rails (API only - no views)
• PostgreSQL

Your Qualifications and Skills include:

• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience, with excellent knowledge of the framework.
• 3+ years experience with PostgresSQL or another SQL database, including a solid understanding of performance issues.
• 2+ years experience with React or other modern Javascript framework (Angular, Vue.js, Backbone.js, Ember), and HTML/CSS.
• Ability to work in a very small team that moves fast.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

• Experience with video or audio codecs and/or signal processing
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Python experience
• Docker experience
