**This is a remote position. Preference given to candidates based in the US or Canada. **

FourthBrain aims to launch candidates into careers in Artificial Intelligence by bridging the gap between employers and qualified candidates via real-world applications and hands-on training. Students will now have the opportunity to learn next-generation artificial intelligence applications, theories, methods, and systems. Our blended-learning program trains candidates to become machine- learning experts and positions them for careers in AI.

As the first hire on the sales team, you’ll develop relationships with external partners as Head of Sales to build up a pipeline of B2B clients and close our first deals. You’ll be hands-on with developing relationships and converting sales, in addition to developing the function for future growth. For the right candidate, this role can also lead to eventually building and managing a team.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with the FourthBrain CEO and Marketing Director to develop and implement outreach strategies.
  • Conduct industry and competitive landscape research projects to further our understanding of markets and opportunities.
  • Proactively prospect, qualify and develop a high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Develop marketing materials to move prospects through the funnel and qualify individual leads for further development.
  • Bring potential clients through to closing and work on renewals.
  • Develop the playbook for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads.
  • Build the Sales function for future growth, proactively developing and iterating on processes and tools.

What You Must Bring:

  • 5-10 years experience in a customer-facing, business development, or sales role for technical products.
  • Excellent at collaborating with highly technical customers and contacts.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable and compelling on the phone and video calls.
  • Proficiency in CRM, leads nurturing, and data enrichment tools.
  • Experience with AI and ML business use cases (or willingness to learn).
  • Willingness to be hands-on, collaborative, and take ownership over building a new function.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in the ML/AI space.
  • Experience working in the L&D space.
