We are looking for a group of strong and versatile software engineers to join a recently formed fast-growing product engineering team: City Success Team. Both senior and junior roles are available.

Here at Lime, our goal is to be deeply integrated into the fabric of cities all over the world. This means, as a software engineer on the City Success team, you’ll work on exciting challenges and difficult problems such as Parking and Safety, to help cities effectively integrate micromobility products into their communities.

The right candidate will display an eagerness to solve consumer-facing problems, a passion for working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data, and Government Relationships, and an ability to drive vague and complex problems to a resolution.

What You'll Do:

• Develop robust and extensible systems that serve both our customer-facing features and internal tools
• Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and User research teams to brainstorm, define and develop 0 to 1 new city success initiatives
• Scale existing products to more markets, and keep optimizing toward our northstar City Success goals
• Closely monitor the performance of all critical parts of our stack and respond to system failures
• Be diligent about tracking data so that we have a good look into ways to improve our products
• For senior candidates, mentor and support other engineers on the team. Identify and develop future leaders.

About You:

• 2+ years of industry experience as a backend or fullstack Software Engineer
• Fluency in at least one web framework, such as Ruby on Rails.
• Experience working with relational databasesOwner’s mindset with strong execution.
• Have the passion and drive to apply engineering principles to solve complex, vague and sometimes urgent business problems
• Excellent process and project management skills and ability to set up effective operating processes and prioritization frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively with staff, colleagues, cross-functional stakeholders and third party partners

In accordance with Colorado State Law, if the candidate selected for this job resides in Colorado, the anticipated minimum salary will be $105,000,plus bonus and equity (when eligible), as well as benefits. Exact salary will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of management discretion and employee performance.
