Logz.io is currently building the most advanced SaaS observability platform in the market, based on popular, cutting edge, open source technologies. We're looking for a highly motivated Senior Java Developer to join our fast growing OpenSearch Team! As a member of this team, you will design, develop and maintain Logz.io Core Technology and infrastructure handling massive scale and low latency challenges in our multi-cloud, multi- region, microservice-based platform. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the OpenSearch project and fix things where they have the most impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high throughput, low-latency backend processes, and infrastructure in a scalable, multi-cloud platformContribute key features to the OpenSearch open-source project
• Be an integral part of the team - embrace the OpenSearch Team spirit, ownership, agenda, planning, and methodology

Requirements

• Experience in maintaining production-grade Elasticsearch clusters
• 5+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in microservice frameworks, approaches, and patterns
• Experience handling Big Data scale and latency challenges
• Self motivated, quick learner, and proactive
• Genuine team player
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across a global company
