**WE’RE LOOKING FOR **

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to help organize and streamline our game development processes so we can create exciting new brain training experiences as we maintain our popular current catalog.

In this role, you’ll work closely with both our internal game development team and external vendors to update our existing collection of brain training games, as well as facilitate the production of new titles. You will drive development, communicate across teams, help prioritize issues, and destroy roadblocks in order to get our games across the finish line.

The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully shipping high-quality consumer software, a passion for developing games, and a desire to create products that benefit the user.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support weekly team processes such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Organize and maintain a prioritized backlog of issues.
  • Track progress and unblock developers as needed.
  • Seek out ways to empower our team.
  • Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Schedule and monitor regular test runs with our external QA team.
  • Be a champion of clear documentation and distribution of information.
  • Playtest our products throughout development to ensure our quality bar is met.
  • Be an active participant in shaping and maintaining our culture by suggesting improvements to processes and technologies.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • A history of supporting the development of high-quality consumer software.
  • Experience working with external development vendors & test teams.
  • Confident proficiency with issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • A love of adaptive Agile-style production methods.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and process-improving abilities.
  • Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Naturally curious and self-sufficient.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Firsthand experience with product testing/quality assurance.
  • Experience with game development optimized for both mobile platforms and web.
  • Familiar with our development tools (Unity, Adobe suite, Gitlab, JIRA).

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Lumos Labs offers a wide range of competitive benefits for all of our full-time employees:
  • The excitement and fun of an early-stage startup paired with the maturity and stability of a later-stage business with substantial revenue and company infrastructure.
  • A remote-first culture, building a team that spans the Eastern-to-Pacific U.S. time zones.
  • Competitive compensation packages, including salary and benefits on-par with later-stage companies, and equity options on-par with earlier-stage ones.
  • Flexible time off throughout the year to rest, reset, and recharge, and an end-of-year holiday break.
  • Generous company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision plans (options for individual, spouse and/or domestic partner, and family coverage).
  • Continuous learning budget for conferences, professional and skill development – think Udemy Courses, Coursera and books.
  • Monthly fitness, wellness, internet, coworking, and cell phone reimbursements.
