We have invented a new way to price medical procedures by pre- negotiating prices with all the providers involved with an episode care. With a patented payment bundling technology and a rapidly growing network of 300+ hospitals in 37 states, we have a proven revenue model. Our small team of healthcare executives and internet entrepreneurs operates from offices in San Francisco and Nashville.

The Account Manager is responsible for driving account growth and providing ongoing customer support for ambulatory surgery centers and free standing imaging centers. Primary duties include establishing productive and professional relationships, ensuring a smooth implementation, giving presentations to key stakeholders, providing clear and concise messaging to our partners and s/he must have the technical ability to easily navigate the backend of the MDsave website. The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for our partners and must have the ability to multi-task, network and negotiate effectively with various partners.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for implementing the MDsave platform (a SaaS model) into our partners and provide ongoing training as needed
  • Develop partnerships with ancillary providers to identify service lines and procedures applicable for that healthcare market
  • Responsible for overall retention of accounts in assigned book of business
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the individual project plan for each implementation providing a framework for the proactive and successful management of issues, risks and deliverables
  • Negotiate and contract ancillary providers
  • Utilize system tools to identify at risk accounts and determine actions required
  • Provide accurate, timely and thorough answers to customer inquiries using knowledge of the MDsave process to exceed customer expectations
  • Accurate and timely reporting using the Salesforce database
  • Understand, manage, and resolve complex issues
  • Analyze account data and provide insights to key stakeholders
  • Consistently meet or exceed established quarterly and yearly goals
  • Initiates processes and champions opportunities to consistently improve the customer experience, actively mitigating partner attrition
  • Travel up to 25% or as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Implementation, Account Management, Project Management, Client Operations, or Sales
  • Proven track record of cultivating strong business relationships with ambulatory surgery centers and free standing imaging centers
  • Ability to utilize effective management, negotiation and influencing skills to ensure a successful implementation of products and services
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Must contribute to a culture that values patient privacy by complying with HIPAA and other regulations, completing company privacy training, and proactively reporting any opportunities to better protect data privacy
