We’re looking for a DevOps engineer who is passionate about reliability, performance, security, availability, and automation who will thrive in a rapidly growing environment. Who will take pride in making a positive impact on team and product deliverables. We want people who love learning new things and getting better at things they already know, who enjoy learning from others and are excited about sharing their own knowledge and experience. Someone who Gets Things Done with minimal supervision. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members.
• Work with Terraform, AWS, K8S, Prometheus, Helm/Helm Charts, Security, Microservices, Gitlab, etc.
• Provide scalable automation for deployment, testing and continuous integration, rapid prototyping, and solution support.
• Perform code reviews, security audits and testing, and produce audit evidence.
• Write technical documentation to capture processes, policies, and procedures.

What We Need

• Minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CI/CD tooling, etc)
• Strong understanding of Git & branching strategies
• Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, SQS/SNS, EKS)
• Strong understanding of containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Python, Restful APIs, and endpoint authentication
• Strong experience with Linux systems

What We Would Love

• Working knowledge of Golang, development methodologies
• Experience with Object Oriented and functional design principles
• Experience with scaling and operating distributed data stores, databases, file systems, and microservices
