The Prevention Specialist (PS) is part of the Prevention Team in Client Operations. The PS is responsible for assisting the Prevention Manager in processing alerts to merchant accounts in a timely manner, and helping the team set prioritization for accounts to be worked. This position will have a flexible schedule Monday – Friday, but will require at least 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday, every week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor daily alerts
• Issue credits when necessary for clients
• Use Excel to process data and create reports
• Review and respond to basic alerts within 24 hours
• Analyze alerts using available systems and resources
• Escalate complex or high-level alerts to the Prevention Manager
• Assist the Prevention Manager in responding to high level account issues within appropriate time frame
• Assist the Prevention Manager in determining which accounts the team should prioritize
• Assist the Prevention team in general, prevention related, tasks

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have proficient computer experience and knowledge of Google Suite & Microsoft Office
• Must be comfortable in Excel; using pivot tables, conditional formatting, sorting, filtering, etc.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high activity level on a daily basis, in order to meet objectives
• Detail oriented with the ability to identify top priority items
• Ability to thrive in a high activity environment with a focus on excellent customer service
• Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a serious work ethic
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Nice to haves:

• Experience working in a remote environment
• Experience and knowledge of merchant billing and credit card transactions

Hourly rate: Starting at $16.00
