The Minted Merchandising team is responsible for driving sales across our various categories, including Art, Home, Gifts, Wedding, Holiday, Baby & Kids, and Greeting Cards. We work closely with design submissions from our talented community of artists, as well as data from our analytics team, to bring forth a fresh, balanced assortment to inspire our customers. This team is also responsible for ensuring the shopping experience in their category is seamless, and the quality of designs rendered on the site flawless, to ensure the best customer experience possible.

As the Merchandising Manager for Art at Minted, you will be responsible for driving the overall merchandising strategy and long-term growth of the Art category . You will work cross-functionally with virtually all teams at Minted, and will have a chance to work with and present to the C Suite. You Will:

  • Manage Merchandising for the Art category. Drive the assortment process from challenge to launch utilizing data and analysis drawn from Minted’s unique crowd curation model.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for category management, including maintaining merch databases, driving shopper experience and online merchandising, and sales reporting.
  • Proactively identify in-season actions and campaigns to drive conversion, feature uptake, and ATV.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners.
  • Own and manage merchandising budget for your category.
  • Closely monitor the competitive landscape and customer need, identifying growth opportunities and initiating action.
  • Develop online merchandising strategy. Collaborate and execute the online merchandising of the relevant categories including filters, SKU organization and ranking, and optimizing the overall “shoppability” of Art assortments.
  • Initiate ad-hoc deep dives into analytics to understand category page performance and opportunities to drive conversion, feature uptake, and ATV.
  • Partner with the Artist Relations team on recruitment, engagement and retention of artists for the Art category.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and 2-5 years of work relevant experience in e-commerce, merchandising, buying, consulting, art & design and/or category management.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • A passion for art.
  • An intuitive understanding of not only what will sell, but also what constitutes truly differentiated and high-quality art.
  • A love for data and the ability to analyze a problem, using data to articulate a recommendation, and take action accordingly.
  • A clear understanding of financial retail measurements and how to impact them.
  • Experience in e-commerce and understanding of e-commerce performance metrics and conversion drivers are a plus.
  • A clear understanding of Minted’s crowdsourcing model and how it differs from traditional retail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
