What you'll do:

  • Explore and devise new algorithms for RAN systems with large scale antenna arrays. This will be based on analytical models and system level simulations. The algorithms are not necessarily restricted to a certain small domain but rather has an effect of improving the full-stack multi-disciplinary processes of the system (from PHY to L3).
  • Bring up theory to practice according to 3GPP specifications and write requirements along with designs for the development teams.

What you'll need:

  • Experience with MATLAB programing in particular with MATLAB’s object oriented programing C/C++.
  • Ability to write and understand mathematical models for MIMO communication problems.
  • Strong analytical skills (linear algebra, random processes).
  • Experience and understanding in cellular communication standards, e.g., 5GNR, LTE, and the various L1-L3 procedures such as cell search, channel measurements, reference signals framework etc.
  • Knowledge in geometric based channel models (3GPPP TS 38.901).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a global multi-site organization.

Education:

  • Only candidates with M.Sc with preference to PhD (major in communication theory and systems and/or signal processing).
