We are looking for a Security Architect for leading and securing our next generation virtualized ALL G solution.

What you'll do:

  • Brief executive leaders on potential emergent threats and ongoing efforts to proactively address potential cyber security risks
  • Influence the security strategy by improving the collective strength of the security team and articulating the capabilities needed to optimally manage security risks
  • Engage in Software Development Lifecycle to collaboratively ensure new products, platforms, and technologies meet or exceed security engineering requirements
  • Design, build and implement world-class security systems for Telco environment
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats; Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Define requirements and create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
  • Use latest programming languages and technologies to writes code, complete programming and performs testing and debugging of applications
  • Work with platform and security engineering leadership to interactively improve Security Development Lifecycle investments.
  • Knowledge source for overall security requirements for All G standards.
  • Champion PW security best practices, internally, with partners and vendors, and with customers.
  • Support third-party (customer and independent security test agencies) assessments of PW solution security in both commercial and government applications.

What you must have:

  • 12+ Years’ Experience implementing security solutions.
  • Fast learner and ability to grasp in detail of product security
  • Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cyber security, and computer operating software
  • Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security
  • Knowledge in networking and communication security like TLS, IPSec, HTTPS
  • Experience within cloud platforms such as OpenStack & Kubernetes to design and build Cloud-native Open-RAN Telco products - advantage
  • Excellent Communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills and organizational leadership abilities to thrive in a global multi-site environment
  • US Citizenship and US Residence required. Previous Government/DoD/DARPA project experience is an advantage.
  • Occasional travel, will be required to meet with customers, security test agencies, and partners
  • Elevate the interest and desire across R&D community to implement secure engineering solutions
  • Knowledge of 4G and 5G standards - advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s CS/CE/EE, or related) with a major in communication theory or systems security
  • Master’s/PhD (CS/CE/EE, or related) with a major in communication theory and system/cyber security - advantage.
