We are looking for a talented QA engineer to join our growing team.

What you’ll do:

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • System test and test result updating in timely manner.
  • Ready to learn new wireless access technologies.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Define and maintain Jenkins CICD pipelines.
  • Setting team goals.

What you must have:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages from Python.
  • Jenkins pipeline.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good understanding on UMTS/LTE/GSM air interface concepts, calls flows and protocols.
  • Basic exposure to NodeB-UE functional testing with E2E understanding and working with UEs and core.
  • Good knowledge on protocols – RRM, RRC, RLC, MAC, RANAP, S1AP, NAS.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN, routing protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling and security protocols.
  • Networking knowledge CCNA/CCNP- Advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and manage parallel time-critical tasks.
  • Good understanding of 3GPP standards.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (B.E/B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education and experience.
