System Test Automation

What you'll do:

• Develop test automation strategies for new products / solutions
• Design and build complex automation frameworks from scratch using open-source tools / build on existing frameworks for mobile network infrastructure
• Develop automation scripts in Python framework to test VNFs, micro-services ,GUI applications for end to end automated testing in System test environment for Parallel Wireless Products and Applications
• Understand Software Requirements Specifications and be able to translate them to automation requirements
• Perform automated regression of system test cases, analyze failures and scrub test results
• Maintaining automated test suites up to date with new versions of product release ensuring good stability and repeatability of the test scripts.

What you must have:

• 7 - 10 years of System testing experience in 2G/3G/4G in an end to end lab environment involving RAN, Core network and EMS
• Sound knowledge of LTE/WCDMA/GSM/GPRS technologies with good understanding / interpretation of Call Flows, Signaling Protocols on RAN network architecture and interfaces
• Hands on experience in E2E verification of configuration of various RAN features / functionality
• Good understanding on EMS platform that include OAM FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Performance, Security) functionality and management of RAN elements (BSC/BTS/RNC/eNodeB)
• Awareness to protocols – RRC, RANAP, BSSMAP, BSSGP, S1AP, X2AP, NAS required to troubleshoot and debug issues in E2E system test environment
• Knowledge of TR-69, Netconf protocol, & North Bound Interface mainly Restful API’s / DB access is preferred
• Exposure in virtualized environment on Linux/KVM Hypervisors and Open Stack, Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong scripting experience in Python/Perl. Experience in Robot Framework and Pytest is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor’s (B.E/B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent training, education and experience.
