Responsibilities

• Develop a plan and enforce security best practices across engineering and IT organizations.
• Work with engineering managers to ensure all engineers remain up-to-speed on the latest security best practices and vulnerabilities.
• Review new product features and architectural changes from a security perspective.
• Build software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
• Develop tools/alerts that monitor product metric streams for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Ideate and develop new metrics streams to detect potential security related anomalies; report on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Partner with other engineers to develop and refactor code with a security first mindset.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Sr. Security Engineer with foundational knowledge of Cyber Security.
• Hands-on information security experience in a large enterprise environments is a plus.
• Genuine passion for creating effective and pragmatic security technologies.
• Ability to discover new vulnerabilities and research exploitation techniques.
• Excellent programming and scripting skills in Java, Python, Perl etc.
• Experience in cloud technologies, AWS preferred.
• Pen testing experience desired
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills in ideating, prototyping and providing thought leadership.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field with specialization in Information Security is preferred.
