The Role

Prosper is seeking a Direct Mail Program Manager to grow our direct marketing team that will work across three products: personal loan, HELOC, and credit card. We are looking for solid experience in DM production. You will need to be innovative, resourceful, and be able to work independently. Although you are mindful of DM creative, you are also analytical — data ultimately drives your decision-making process. You want to make an impact that you can truly measure. You are an excellent collaborator, able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, to ensure the success of your initiatives. You are not satisfied with the status quo and always look for ways to make the program better.

In support of growing monthly originations, the Program Manager ensures that direct response marketing campaigns are developed and deployed in a compliant manner with technology functioning as designed and the marketing message is delivered the as intended. This role is responsible for the quality of the borrower onboarding experience through the direct response channel, and requires an appropriate level of job knowledge, proof and audit sampling, project management, budgeting, and reporting to management.

Problems You Will Solve

  • Execution : Manage, maintain, and report on Direct Marketing Campaigns from initial development through production and deployment. Continually evaluate production processes and methods to improve efficiency and campaign performance.
  • Analytics : Create metrics for, and track, marketing campaign progress and delivery. Modify/design existing QA processes and partner with call center to assure that all levels of the organization have the appropriate information for decision making
  • Customer Advocate : Marketing liaison for borrower escalations or inquiries which may include compliance and senior management and other escalations related to the borrower acquisition experience. Assist with remediation efforts needed to resolve issues arising out of technology releases, system constraints, organizational errors and other unplanned circumstances.
  • Communication : Coordinate across the organization to ensure that the marketing team has the information needed to excel. Work cross-functionally to provide appropriate information for call center and other impacted staff as new campaigns/partners/technology are launched.

About You

  • 5+ years of related acquisition experience (Quality assurance, compliance, testing, banking, financial services) in print and online channels
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or 3+ years’ experience in direct marketing channel, or within print production
  • Critical thinking, strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to influence action in the absence of a direct reporting relationship and see projects through to implementation
  • Experienced with all MS Office applications with emphasis on Excel. Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and COUPA is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills- ability to handle varied responsibilities and drive success with limited resources in a matrixed organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop and implement new policies and procedures
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to borrowers in a professional, compliant manner via delivery of consistent Quality levels across organizational touchpoints
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to clearly convey thoughts and opinions in a variety of forums including presentations to management, partners, vendors and colleagues
  • Ability to work a primarily daytime but flexible schedule that may include some limited travel time
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexibility to change priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be able to work with confidential information & pass appropriate pre-employment screening
