The Role

The Role Prosper is seeking is a Senior Manager to play a critical role within the FP&A team. This person will play a key role in the company-wide forecasting and planning processes with product specific focus covering all aspects of the P&L, cash flows and other key metrics. We are looking for an effective collaborator and communicator, who is detail oriented, possesses strong analytical / modeling skills and able to pull together multiple sources of information to tell an accurate and balanced story. This person will be an active Finance business partner in supporting multiple teams within the organization. Overall, this person is a nimble, self-starter with strong financial modeling skills, very detail oriented, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and at times ambiguous environment.

Problems You Will Solve

• Analyze and forecast revenue and transaction costs while simultaneously providing insight into the upstream customer related metrics driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth
• Facilitate the consolidated financial planning processes and robust reporting to executive management
• Develop scalable processes to effectively manage company’s growth and financial performance
• Build strong financial models and analytical tools to influence business decisions and provide insightful recommendations
• Identify risks and opportunities to management and recommend strategies to achieve financial goals and targets
• Manage frequent ad-hoc projects to support leadership in influencing sound business decisions through financial insights
• Partner with the accounting teams to ensure timely monthly financial closes

About You

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A, Corporate Finance and/or investment banking experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large data sets and present findings in a well thought out manner
• Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel) with the expertise in building complex but easy to follow models
• Demonstrated the ability to work in situations with changing priorities and multiple deadlines with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to wear multiple hats as the business evolves
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with all levels in the organization
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and ability to create visually impactful slides for executive and board presentations
• Experience with financial planning systems and knowledge of cloud-based solutions is a plus
