The Role

We are looking for an engineering leader who is passionate about people growth, platform advancement and organization development. This person will help build a strong servicing & retention platform for Prosper that will help the business scale for the growth over the next few years. In this role, you would collaborate with your team, cross functional teams, Product Managers, Stack-holders, Third party Vendors/Partners to drive business initiatives/goals. The ideal candidate will have sharp coding skills and unwavering passion for managing the dynamics of a fast-paced environment.

Above all other factors, we are looking for smart, driven candidates who want to be part of a culture of innovation and creativity as we develop and define the peer-to-peer lending marketplace!

Problems You Will Solve

  • Lead multiple medium size scrum teams with 6-10 people in each.
  • Collaborate effectively, cross-functionally to drive change and influence product and process decisions.
  • Work effectively with cross functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal business goals.
  • Help to shape thinking around designing robust, scalable products to help the Prosper growth.
  • Champion engineering excellence, establishing business metrics, and drive continuous operational improvement.
  • Be both a technical leader and a thoughtful people manager.
  • Drive roadmap creation and execution

All About You

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience growing and managing multi-team organizations.
  • 3+ years of working experience with remote teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in technologies/frameworks like Java, Springboot

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with technologies/frameworks like React, GraphQL, Cloud solutions (GCP)
  • Proven track record of creating and managing high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and analytical skills.
